MQM, MPA RAZA HAIDER DEAD
MQM Sindh Assembly MPA Raza Haider was assassinated along with his bodyguards while attending a funeral in Karachi’s Nazimabad No. 2 area on Monday
The MPA succumbed to his injuries on the way to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
Sporadic incidents of violence erupted across the city as reports of the murder started coming in.
The body guard of Raza haider was also killed in the incident.
Funeral prayers of Raza Haider will be held after Zuhr prayers on Tuesday at Bab-ul-Ain in Nazimabad.
MQM has announced a 3 day mourning period.
All educational institutions in Karachi will be closed tomorrow as a result of the incident.
In contribution, Haider’s gunman Tariq Khan and a 16-year-old party’s activist were also killed within the armed attack.
Interior Minister Rehman Malik sentenced the incident, lobbying the MQM towards maintain calm. He termed the targetedhomicides a plot towards destabilize the country.
He remarked that Sipah Sahaba Pakistan (SSP) could also be embroiled within the homicide because the died was obtainingrisks from the banned sectarian outfit.
Speaking towards SAMAA onto telephone, MQM leader Waseem Aftab has claimed that ANP Sindh President Shahi Syed isembroiled within the armed attack onto Raza Haider.
Karachi CCPO Waseem Ahmed has remarked that a high-level team has been constituted towards explore Haider’s killing.
Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has also sentenced the disastrous incident.
